The Galician canning company will participate as an exhibitor at the 34th edition of the Salón de Gourmets, where it will also hold the awaited final of its “Talentos en Conserva” contest for culinary students.

After 33 editions, the Salón Gourmets fair is already the largest food and beverage fair in Europe and the big event of the year for many national and international professionals in the sector. As in other editions, Frinsa will have its own large stand, where visitors will be able to see and enjoy its range of high-end products under the Frinsa La Conservera brand, its new Minerva brand of Portuguese canned products, as well as its most innovative products such as the “Proteína Natural” line. In addition, during the event, Frinsa will finally celebrate the long-awaited final of the “Talentos en Conserva by Frinsa” contest. Frinsa’s stand, as in previous years, will be located in Hall 4 of the Madrid Fairgrounds (IFEMA), stand 4A10. Here are the 3 finalists of the contest:

1. Martín Camaño Fernández with a recipe for Hake Ceviche.

2. Mireia Cuadrado García with a delicious Turkey in almond sauce.

3. Andrés Sánchez Molero with his original recipe for Chicken Tzatziki.

The contest maintains the rules established for the 2020 final, cancelled due to the pandemic, where the theme of “Healthy Flavors” was set so that participants must prepare their recipes with products from the Proteína Natural range. The selected finalists will have 45 minutes in total to prepare, plate and explain their recipe before a jury formed by the chef and regular collaborator of the brand, Pepe Solla and Alejandra Ansón, co-founder of the gastronomic cabinet Anson y Bonet, among others.

Both Frinsa and the Salón Gourmet event itself have COVID regulations so that we can all enjoy an exciting and safe event. Who will win?
